Should Taylor Swift be The Famous Music Artist She Is?

Monday, February 08, 2016

From country boots to high heels, Taylor Swift has traveled around the music world. With the release of “Our Song” in 2008, she became one of the youngest artists to write a song and have it hit the top of the charts, bringing in fans from around the world. People of all ages fell in love with her, one of those people being me.
For a little eight year old girl, Taylor Swift was the person to look up to. Growing up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Taylor found a love for singing at a young age. When she was 9, she became involved in musical theatre and regularly traveled to acting and vocal lessons. Later on, she found a love for country and began performing at local festivals and competition’s. To help pursue Taylor’s dreams, her parents decided to move the family to Nashville, Tennessee. Soon after, Taylor caught the eye of Scott Borchetta who was preparing to start his own record label, Big Machine Records. Taylor finally had a record deal and released her debut album “Taylor Swift” which included hit songs like “Our Song” and “Tim Mcgraw”. Taylor Swift soared to the top of hot country song charts and she became the youngest artist to write and record a number one hit song.
Taylor’s fame grew as she sold thousands of copies of her debut album soon to turn into millions. As her fan base grew, she wrote and released another hit album title “Fearless” which became the most-awarded album in country music history. She became the youngest artist to win Entertainer of the Year and won several Grammy awards. As Taylor became the country princess, she released yet another album titled “Speak Now” which again blew everyone away selling a million copies in the first week. At the release of her albums “Red” and “1989”, Taylor, the little country princess, became a pop star diva. Taylor's songs, written all from life experiences, really sparked something in people's hearts not to mention the tunes that got stuck in people’s heads. She wrote songs that make you want dance in your bedroom and sing along to at the top of your lungs!
I’ve grown up listening and watching Taylor Swift rise to the top of the music industry. Her talent is undeniable. She has such a perky personality and her cats are adorable. She loves her fans so much, even inviting some to her home to listen to her new album before it was released. It’s amazing to see someone work for their dreams and actually succeed. Taylor is really inspiring for many young artists. - Les Anya

Hey everyone, it’s That Drummer Guy.   In this post I will be sharing my opinion

of Taylor Swift.  First off, if you’re a Taylor Swift fan don’t be offended by this post.

Taylor Swift is definitely on my Top Ten List of Worst Artists in the World, and this is why

I don’t like her.

Probably the number one reason I don’t like Taylor, is her immaturity.  This

immaturity is show within her music, it’s all about her ex-boyfriends.  Whenever she

wants to make a new song, all she needs to do its date some guy, break up with him

and BOOM!  Another song was written.  You have to admit that it’s extremely immature.

Another reason I don’t like her is that, like so many artists these days.  She doesn’t care

about her fans, it’s all about the money.  You might be saying right now, “You’re wrong

Drummer Guy, she does care about her fans”.  I don’t think that the statement is true,

just look at the way she treats other people.  Especially the way she treats her

“boyfriends” otherwise known as “the only way to get ideas for a song because Taylor

Swift has zero ideas”.  She only cares about the money. Look at the facts everyone!

Taylor Swift has no right to be considered an amazing music artist.  Some people might

think she has good music, but her personality and thought process are horrible.  I hope

that this post has explained to you why I think that way I do about Taylor Swift.
