In Conclusion.....

Unfortunately, we are now at the end of our blog. We’ve learned a lot about each other and learning to work together. For our last post we have taken each week and a boy and a girl will tell you what their favorite post was and why. Enjoy!

Week 1:

Hey ya’ll, one of my favorite posts was the Baseball is loved by Guys……….And Girls. I do not play baseball, but it is very fun to watch. When I play stuff like baseball, I always end up looking like a fool. The story in Velma’s post showed readers that it is still worth try something, even if it is very confusing and hard to grasp at first. Mr. Gorn’s post was very light hearted and fun. Overall the blog post did take me out to the ballgame. - Miss Queenie

In week 1, we had some really great posts. My favorite was the review of Paul Blart Mall Cop 2. The writers of the post did an amazing job summarizing the funny moments of the movie. Both reviews were descriptive, which I like. I agree that Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 is a great comedy that everyone should see. - SouperMarioBro

Week 2:

Hey y'all, Holly here.  I know it's sad, but our blog is quickly coming to an end. I'm wrapping up my part by telling you what I enjoyed from week 2.  My favorite post in the second week was "Stand for the Second". I like it because I agree with it and love how strongly their opinions were stated. I loved all the posts from that week and from the entire blog, but that one really stood out.  - Holly Mackerel

My favorite post was from ThatDrummerGuy. His favorite game is Settlers of Catan. It sounds like a lot of fun and it looks very hard. It sounds like a competitive game. Also, ThatDrummerGuy said it was a game meant for older people, so I will not be forced by others to play it with little kids. That is why it was my favorite post. -Calliou Bernard.

Week 3:

Hi readers of this blog, Collin talking. My favorite blog post of Week 3 will have to be the vacation one. I choose that one because Florida is one of my favorite places to vacation. The two writers described lots of different things to do while you are there, such as going to the beach, seeing Hogsmeade, and forests for nature lovers. - Collin Spot

Hello to all you faithful readers! For Week 3 my choice of my favorite post goes to……..”Should Taylor Swift be the Famous Music Artist She Is”! The reason this post receives my vote is the impressive way the opinions were presented by both sides. Although I agree with ThatDrummerGuy that Swift’s songs are not the best, I was very impressed with the way Les Anya presented her opinion. Great job to both of you on a well written post.......and I can’t believe that this is THE END!  To my surprise, I’m actually somewhat sad to end the whirlwind of editing, pestering, formatting, and posting. Although it has been stressful at times to keep everything coordinated, I’ve learned a lot from this blog about myself and others. So goodbye….for the last time. -Flinn Wilder, Ex-Administrative Supervisor

Week 4:

I really enjoyed being a part of the blog and seeing all of the stories that were told. I love the embarrassing stories the best, and it's always nice to have a good laugh or laugh at someone else. ;) I love to hear the embarrassing stories because I can relate to them all of the time! -Velma

Hey everyone, RottenFresh again. You know it seems like it was just a few days ago when we first started this blog project, and it's already ended. Now don't feel sad, we had some good fun with this project, and we hope you have enjoyed reading all of our posts. I'm going to go ahead and finish off my part by giving you a little overview of what happened on week 4. My favorite post that went up this week was our video that we made and put on YouTube. You can find it at http://youtu.be/1Tf7QxCYAoM. It took a long time to make, but we managed and made something that we hope you enjoyed. Who could forget the embarrassing stories post, I had a good laugh myself. I could write for a while about everything, but I'm going to keep it short and simple. Sincerely, I hope you enjoyed this blog. - RottenFresh
Week 5:

Hey guys, ThatDrummerGuy here.  Before I tell you what my favorite post was, I have to say they were all great.  But now I have to reveal my favorite post of Week 5, Rave Restaurant Reviews!  I chose this post because I am a food junkie.  This post also had great descriptions of the restaurant’s signature dishes.  Thank you all for viewing! - ThatDrummerGuy

My favorite post this week was “Famous People that Shaped Our World”. Henry Ford revolutionized our lives with the popularization of the automobile.  While Shirley Temple, well, who wouldn't love a little dancing toddler?! The thing that’s most in common with these two people is that they started at a very young age doing what they loved. It’s such an inspiration to me that if you work for your dream it can be possible. Historical characters are often not credited enough for changing our lives, whether it be our lifestyles or our mindset. We wouldn't be the same today if it wasn’t for them. - Les Anya

Conclusion
Opinion - a personal view, attitude, or appraisal
Some people like sports, others don’t. Some like television and others video games. Some are Republicans, others Democrats. Some like classical music and others rap. We all have different opinions. So whose opinion is right? No one’s opinion is right. Like the definition stated earlier, it is only a personal view. So no one is wrong, and no one is right. It doesn’t matter if we have different opinions. It just means we’re different, and no one is better than the other. We had lots of fun writing these posts, and we will miss the opportunity of writing for you guys/girls. We hope you have enjoyed our blog. So long!

Boys: Girls want attention, and they are more apt to be emotional.
Girls: We actually only express one side of ourselves; we hide more than people think. We need someone to listen to the side we are willing to express; its easier for us to express our feelings on some topics. Feelings aren't a sign of weakness to us.

Why can’t girls be immature like boys and not be made fun of?
Boys: They take it more personally.
Girls: Girls have a certain standard to live up to; we are expected to mature faster than boys.

Why do girls wear makeup?

Why do girls tell guys their problems and not want any answers?
Boys: They think out loud.

Famous People that Shaped Our World

Hello blog readers, it’s Miss Queenie here. One of the things that I love to do is read history. I am my family’s history buff. When most people think of historical figures, they think of all the war heros, inventors, presidents, and other people like that. Most of them miss out on the artists and movie stars, etc. They are all part of history. But what makes them stand out, is that they inspire people.
From the end of the First World War to the beginning of the Great Depression, life was full of trials for the people of America. But what kept them going was the movies. In the movies, at that point in time, was none other than the curly-top, child star Shirley Temple.
In 1932, she began her acting career at age three. Little Shirley danced and sang her way through the movies, and into people's hearts. Shirley and her tap dance partner, Bill Robinson, were one of the greatest dance partners of the ages. She inspired her fans, both young and old. Her curly hair was as iconic as her dancing. It was only 59 curly curls.
Shirley was iconic and beloved because she inspired people through her joy and happiness. She whisked people off from all the crazy stuff that happened to their happy place. I hope you guys enjoyed my post. Peace ya’ll! - Miss Queenie

The early 1900's were home to some of the most brilliant inventors in history. While Henry Ford did not actually invent the automobile or the assembly line, he is often credited with both achievements due to his role in popularizing them. When Henry was young, he would, out of curiosity, take apart pocket watches and put them back together to learn how the pieces worked. This curiosity eventually led him to create a horseless carriage, the Ford Quadricycle, which was a novel idea at the time. His employer, Thomas Edison, encouraged him to build more and sell them. In 1903, He founded the Ford Motor Company. Five years later, the Model T car became available to the people. With his company, Henry brought the automobile to middle class Americans with the help of the quick and efficient assembly line, which he sponsored. Ford Motor Company also used franchising, another new concept, to allow wider distribution of their product. Henry Ford revolutionized American business with his use of the assembly line and the Model T. He is considered one of the most important American businessmen of all time. Henry Ford’s achievements make him my favorite person from the early 1900s. - SouperMarioBro
